Raised in the Netherlands (Eindhoven) and the first time I saw a racetrack was during the Marlboro Masters in 1999 at Circuit Park Zandvoort. Since then I was infected with the race virus and followed everything that had to do with racing (F1, DTM, LeMans…). I also tried to be the new Mika Hakkinen and make the step to join the Dutch Karting Championship as a teenager. Things went well but same as these days… sponsors and money had everything to do to make the next step. During the years, my interest in motorsport remained so I decided to see the world from a different perspective… yes, through the lens. I started to capture events at Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium) and started a photo agency with a friend (Rik van Mulken) called Fast Moving Images aka FM Images. These days I have to travel around the world for my clients, from Dubai in the Emirates to João Pessoa in Brazil. I love to work with prime-lenses to be more creative, always looking for the next step and try to be different than others. Hope to see you on track!
